Davido Accuses Government Of Hiring Thugs To Pose As Protesters In A Bid To Discredit The #EndSARS Protest
Nigerian musician and songwriter, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has accused the government of hiring thugs to distract the ongoing peaceful protest in the country.
Earlier today, there has been reports that, some thugs posed as protesters have broken into the Oko Prisons in Benin City to free the inmates there. This even led to the imposition of a 24-hour curfew on the Edo State.

There are other reports where these thugs have reportedly besieged a police station and set it ablaze. This and many other negative stories has marred the beauty of the somewhat beautiful and peaceful protest that has been witnessed for the past weeks.

Davido is alleging that those thugs are not really protesters but people hired by the government to give the #EndSARS protest a bad name. Davido took to his twitter handle to make his comment.
“They have started hiring thugs to pose as protesters!!! E no go work!!! #EndSARS”, he tweeted
