Yvonne Nelson Calls On AU And ECOWAS To Intervene In the Nigerian Crisis

Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson has called on the leadership of the African Union (AU) and that of the Economic Community Of West African States (ECOWAS) to intervene in the ongoing crisis in Nigeria.

In all of these, the two regional bodies that exercise oversight responsibility over Nigeria have remained silent. This trend is worrying and Yvonne Nelson thinks it’s high time the leadership of AU and ECOWAS spoke about the issue to ensure calm is restored.

She took to twitter and wrote: β€œWhere is the AFRICAN UNION (AU) ? where is ECOWAS?? West african leaders, where are you?? πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬ speak for the people of NIGERIA! AFRICA AND THE WORLD IS WATCHING πŸ’”πŸ’”β€
