“We Need People On The Grassroot Level” – Simi Calls For All Inclusiveness In The Protest
Nigerian singer Simi, has called for all to be included in the ongoing protest against bad governance and police brutality.
The artiste noted that majority of Nigerians who are the grassroots have no access to social media and might miss the core of their message.

The protest which has been happening for the past two weeks has attracted worldwide attention due to the pockets of violence that has characterized it.
The political class have not commented positively to the plight of the protesters. Buhari’s speech yesterday added insult to injury as it did not address their issues.

Simi is suggesting that the grassroots have to be rallied to get on board so that the message will get far.
She tweeted: “We need people on the grassroots level. Majority of the population are poor and not familiar with pop culture or the internet. We need to find a way to engage and carry them along. We need everybody.”
