Social Media Was Used To Incite The Youth For The End SARS Protest – Babagana Monguno
The National Security Adviser (NSA), Babagana Monguno, has blamed social media for the role it played in the ongoing End SARS protest across the country.
He said social media was used to incite violence during the protest across the various States of Nigeria.

He made this remarks at the 2020 national cyber security strategy workshop held today, Wednesday, October 28 in the capital of Abuja.
He added that social media was posing increasing challenges of cyber-terrorism in the country.

He said: “We are witnesses to the use of social media to disseminate subversive content to incite violence and heightened tension, causing unrest and sparking widespread looting and destruction across the country.”
