Desmond Elliot Apologizes For His Outburst Against Nigerian Youth

Nollywood actor and politician, Desmond Elliot has apologized for his outburst earlier today in the Lagos State House of Representatives where he descended heavily on the youth.

In his earlier comments, he described the youth as children who are easily misled by celebrities and social media.

He estimated that, in five years time, there will be no Nigeria considering the way the “children” are abusing leaders on social media.

He has however, taken to social media to render an apology to the Nigerian youth for the description he used on them.

In his apology, he wrote that, he was carried away by the fact that his constituents were suffering the consequences of the End SARS protest which ended in thugs looting private and government warehouses.

“I allowed my emotions get the better of me and for this I apologize to everyone my earlier statements may have hurt”, he noted in one of his tweets
