Governor Obaseki And His Deputy Sworn In For A Second Term In Office
The governor-elect of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki and his deputy, Philip Shaibu have been sworn in for a second term in office.
Governor Obaseki emerged victorious in the keenly contested governorship election that was held on September 20, 2020.

He polled the highest number of votes in the elections. The swearing in ceremony took place at the Samuel Ogbemudia township stadium.
