The news of the death of the former Ghanaian president, Jerry John Rawlings who is considered as the father of the fourth republic hit he world unexpectedly.
Many received the news with shock as they didn’t know about his ailment untill the news of his demise broke out.

Many have taken to social media to mourn the death and celebrate the life of the former military leader.
Nigerian afrobeats artiste, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has also joined the list of people who are mourning the former Ghanaian president.

He took to his verified twitter page to bid the former president a farewell.
Jerry John Rawlings died today, Thursday, November 12 after a short illness. He died at age 73 and survived by a wife and four children.
