Leak Chats Show How Davido Spotted And Signed Mayorku

Nigeria musician, David Ayodeji Adeleke popularly known as Davido has been working with a couple of artistes under his DMW record label but little is known about how he got all of them to work with.

One of the stars in his camp is Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, known in the entertainment industry as Mayorkun.

Davido after building so much confidence in the ability of Mayorkun took to his Twitter page to share a screenshot of how he met the great talent.

In the said conversation, it appears that Mayorkun made the move to contact Davido but not with the intention of being signed.

According to the messages shared, Mayorkun sent some of his tracks to Davido to listen to and probably help him correct some errors.

Davido after listening to the songs got impressed and told Mayorkun point blank that he wanted to sign him. This happened four years ago.
