American media house, CNN has concluded on its independent investigation into the shooting incident that occurred at the Lekki toll gate on October 20.
On the unfortunate night of 20th October, 2020, the youth of Nigeria gathered at the Lekki toll gate to press home their demands for the dissolution of SARS and an end to police brutality.

They were met with stiff opposition from the police and military who shot at them killing dozens in the process.
The incident drew international attention to Nigeria and CNN commenced an independent investigation into the matter.

They spoke with a lot of the protesters including Elisha Sunday who lost his brother during the incident in the course of their investigations.
Their footages have shown soldiers shooting at the crowd of protesters on that night.
Nigerians have hailed the work of the media organization as they think the incident will now be given the needed attention.
