Finance Minister Hints On Reopening Nigeria’s Land Borders Soon
Nigeria’s minister of finance and budget, Ahmed Zainab has hinted on the reopening of Nigeria’s Land borders after they were closed over a year ago.
The minister whiles speaking with journalist noted that a committee was set up to look into the matter of opening the borders and the committee has concluded its work.

She added that the president will receive a report from the committee very soon. She also made it known that the committee has recommended the reopening of the borders in their report.
Nigeria closed her borders somewhere in August, 2019 to prevent the illegal importation of drugs and firearms into the country from other West African countries.
