OAP, Shade Ladipo Roots For Burna Boy To Win The Grammy Award

Nigerian afrobeats artiste Damini Ogulu, known as Burna Boy in showbiz got his second nomination at the Grammys at the 63rd edition in the best Global Album of the year Category.

His fifth studio album, ‘Twice As Tall’ got the nod after it was deemed very successful when it was released somewhere in July.

Media personality, Shade Ladipo has taken to her social media platforms to declare her support for the ‘African giant’.

This comes after the two stepped on each other’s toes some few months ago that led to Burna Boy blocking Shade Ladipo on social media.

The media personality has put that beef behind her and has taken to social media to throw her support for the musician.

She wrote: ”I want Burna Boy to win the Grammys so we can rest .. Oya Oga you’re the best. Frustrate us we are your Nigerians. TBH Twice as Tall is a great album. It’s devoid of tricks. It’s exactly what it’s supposed to be almost a coming of age who Burna is. Pls recording Academy let Burna Boy win so we can breathe in Nigeria and he can have something else to look forward to.”
