Nigerian singer, Omah Lay and his colleague, Tems were arrested and arraigned before court in Uganda for performing on a show against Covid-19 protocols.
The two were arraigned before court today and charged with “negligently doing acts likely to spread infectious diseases” after performing in a show in the country.

Omah Lay was taken to Kitalya prison whiles Tems was also taken to the Kigo prison.
A video of Omah Lay complaining about how he’s been treated by the police in Uganda has gone viral.

In the video, Omah Lay is heard telling the police that, he’s not a criminal and shouldn’t be handcuffed like one.
He also complained about the way the handcuff was too tight on him, asking the police to loosen it a bit.
