“Release Our Artistes And Come For Some Of Our Politicians” – Bovi Tells Ugandan Government
The arrest of musicians, Omah Lay and Tems continues to dominate headlines as many Nigerian celebrities have added their voices to call for their release.
The duo were arrested after performing on a show which contravenes directives against mass gathering in Uganda.

The duo were charged to court and were subsequently taken to different prisons in the country.
The calls to get them released have so far fallen on deaf ears.

Ace comedian, Bovi has also added his voice to the ongoing brouhaha. He’s of the view that, Uganda should release Omah Lay and Tems and replace them with some politicians in Nigeria.
He took to twitter and wrote: “Dear @KagutaMuseveni please kindly use your executive powers to #FreeTemsAndOmahLay . They didn’t plan the show. Ugandans planned the show. If you have scores to settle with our government, let us know. We have people in govt we can exchange our artists with”
