After a public outcry from Nigerian celebrities and the general public against the arrest and detention of singers, Omah Lay and Tems, the Ugandan authority has now dropped charges against them.
The fast rising artistes were arrested in Uganda on Sunday after they performed on a show in the country.

They were arraigned before court and charged with doing acts that would spread infectious disease – Covid-19.
The two were sent back to separate prisons after making an appearance in court on Monday.
A magistrate court in the Eastern African country has dropped the charges against the singers. Find the court documents below.
