“We Defecated At The Same Place That We Ate” – Kankara Students Narrates Their Horrible Experience

Finally, the over three hundred students who were abducted from the Kankara Government Science Secondary School in Katsina State, have been freed.

This, comes with some bad experience that they had in the hands of their Boko Haram abductors for the past few days.

Their worst experience as narrated by the students when they spoke to Channels TV is that they were starved and only ate once in two days.

One of the students, Abubakar said, they were also not allowed to ease themselves at a convenient place but rather at the place that they were kept.

He said: ”At the time we were there, the place was very cold and the food we were taking was just bread and groundnut cake and cassava. The place we were sleeping is the same place we were defecating. In the night if you say you want to go and urinate or defecate, they would beat you and ask you to go back and sleep.”
