Former Nigeria minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has taken to social media to make a very controversial statement about Christmas spendings this year.

The controversial politician took to his verified twitter handle to write that, any man who does not give his wife about N2m for shopping this Christmas is in trouble.

She noted that, at a time that women are crazy about material things such as bone straight hair, ripped jeans and the likes, men should brace themselves for more spendings.

In his words, “In this era of “kanyamata”, “bone straight” &”rip jeans” any man that doesn’t give his lady at least 2 million naira to buy HERSELF goodies for Christmas is in trouble. That is 2 million cash OUTSIDE of the traditional Christmas gifts he has to go &buy himself &present to her!”
