At the end of the election, Mr Ralph Poku-Adusei won the candidacy with 662 votes with Mensah coming second with 245 votes.

Irrespective of the loss, Flexer praised the retired police officer.

“If No One Will Congratulate You In Ghana, I Will. COP Alex Your First Time In The Polls Have Impressed Me. Being The 2nd Just At A First Try Is A Good Sign. You’re Always A Fighter Surely That’s Why The Enemy Try To Dirt Your Credibility Over The Years Of Service.Again Congrats,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
