The ‘Eagle’ hitmaker commended COP Mensah for running a decent and honorable campaign.

He also praised him for performing admirably considering being a first time performer facing a barrage of dirty politics from his oppnonents.

COP Alex Mensah contested to become the NPP Parliamentary candidate in the Bekwai constituency and faced stiff competition from one Ralph Poku-Adusei.

The duo went head-to-head to choose a replacement for the First Deputy Speaker, Joseph Osei-Owusu who did not seek re-election but endorsed the retired COP Mensah.

At the end of the election, Mr Ralph Poku-Adusei won the candidacy with 662 votes with Mensah coming second with 245 votes.

Irrespective of the loss, Flexer praised the retired police officer.

“If No One Will Congratulate You In Ghana, I Will. COP Alex Your First Time In The Polls Have Impressed Me. Being The 2nd Just At A First Try Is A Good Sign. You’re Always A Fighter Surely That’s Why The Enemy Try To Dirt Your Credibility Over The Years Of Service.Again Congrats,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Ghanaian reggae dancehall act Flexer Gh has called for Nigerian actresses to stop using Mohbad’s death to ‘catch cruise’, as he put it.

According to the artist on his new Twitter page, Mohbad would surely get justice but the actresses who are taking advantage of the situation pretending to love and fight for Mohbad whilst simply using the situation as a way of promoting their own brand or pretending to be angels should stop such acts.

Flexer said Mohbad should be accorded the right of respect and the authorities left to do their work for the right culprits to be arrested and not use it as a form of advantage to shine or promote their brand.

Nigeria artist, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, known professionally as MohBad, recently died in tragic fashion.

Mohbad’s tragic death caused a stir in Nigeria, with many blaming his former label boss, Naira Marley, for his death.

Leading the charge against Naira Marley were some Nollywood star such as Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh who have loudly called for the Marlians boss to be arrested and jailed.

According to Flexer Gh, such actresses are simply chasing clout with the Mohbad issue.

He said Mohbad would receive his justice but the law must be allowed to take its course and not for emotional, clout chasing actresses to determine what happens.

Flexer had previously declared that Naira Marley might even be innocent despite everyone directing their anger towards him.

“Heroes Faces The Most Toughest Battles In Life. If Truly In Your Heart You Have No Hand In @iammohbad Death Then I Pray The Lord Keep You Safe And Strong Till The End Of This @nairamarly,” he wrote on Instagram.

“Stay Strong. You Gave Him Light Whiles All These People Showing Him Love After His Death Didn’t Recognize Him. Imole May You Find True Justice Even Tho I Dont Trust This Africa System To Give You That. No Truth In Africa. #justice4mohbad ✌🏻

A 40-year-old Ghanaian gay man known as Justice Assan aka Sweet DD might be the luckiest soul alive as following a 4th attempt on his life by homophobes, he has reportedly received consideration to receive asylum in Canada.

Justice Assan was nearly lynched about a month ago around Michel Camp, a residential area built around a military encampment in Tema in the Greater Accra Region after he was allegedly busted attempting to have s*x with another man in the vicinity of the military camp.

Assan was lucky to escape with his life and in the aftermath of that, has reportedly gained consideration as an asylum seeker into Canada.

The attempt on Assan’s life was reportedly the 4th time he had almost been beaten by angry youth in the country.

Ghana has a notoriously tough anti-gay population with a super majority of the population being religious. All three main Ghanaian religions – Christianity, Islam and the African traditional religion – frown upon the practice of LGBT people.

Anti-gay sentiments have also gained more prominence in recent times following an effort by some members of Parliament, spearheaded by Ningo Prampram MP Sam George, to pass new legislation titled the ‘Proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family Values’ bill.

The new bill proposes far harsher measures for homos*xuality than previously existed and the discussion around the bill has stoked anti-gay sentiments, leading to a recent rise in attacks on LGBT Ghanaians.

In the face of numerous attacks and unending threats from Christians and Muslims alike, Assana reportedly applied for asylum to Canada and has been granted.

The loudmouth had previously bragged that he would make a career out of being gay in Ghana, much like Bobrisky in Nigeria – but the attacks had apparently reached a critical point hence he had to flee the country.

At the moment, Sweet DD appears to have won his freedom from the Ghanaian masses and it remains to be seen if he will ever return to the country where one can assume his detractors would be waiting to ‘teach him a lesson’.

Ghanaian dancehall artist, Flexer Gh has expressed his doubts over Mohbad getting justice due to the African system whilst hailing Naira Marley for giving Mohbad a chance to become a star when all those praising him now after his death did nothing to help him.

According to Flexer Gh, the love being showered on Mohbad is typical of fake African hypocritical love which one only receives when they’re dead but not when they’re alive.

Flexer Gh claims when Mohbad was alive, Naira Marley was actually the only person who gave him a chance.

Hence, he opined that in the absence of evidence that he actually harmed Mohbad, he actually deserves praise and not condemnation.

Flexer Gh made his point on his Instagram handle @iamflexergh, giving an interesting new twist to the sensational ongoing story.

Irrespective of his thoughts on Marley, Flexer still called for #Justice4Mohbad.

He wrote: “Heroes Faces The Most Toughest Battles In Life. If Truly In Your Heart You Have No Hand In @iammohbad Death Then I Pray The Lord Keep You Safe And Strong Till The End Of This @nairamarly.
