New development that has reached us shoots down earlier reports that former MUSIGA President, Bice Osei Kuffour aka Obour had won the NPP Asante Akyem South Primaries.

At the end of the voting, Obour who was in the lead was ran over by 64 Votes, losing to Kwaku Asante Boateng.

Obour is contesting with three other people including the incumbent Member of Parliament Hon. Kwaku Asante Boateng, who has served two terms on the ticket of the NPP.

After the election, Obour has come out to speak on how he has handled his loss and all the lessons he has learned.

Obour swept incumbent MP, Hon. Kwaku Asante Boateng off his feat and beat six others he was in the race with to assume the seat.

The New Patriotic Party’s parliamentary primaries is ongoing across the country and some results have been mentioned.

The Musician has now set sail on a cruise to becoming a member of Parliament on the ticket of the NPP in the upcoming elections.
