Popular Nigerian comedian, AY Makun has jumped to the defence of SARS officers as a nationwide uproar against the police unit is still ongoing in the country.

The comedian was commenting on the Lekki Road blockage by protesters earlier today. Some protesters had earlier blocked the road in Lekki causing huge human and vehicular traffic on it.

AY Comedian as he’s known in the industry took to his Facebook page to pen his thoughts about the incident.

According to him, the road blockage was unnecessary and it was only to worsen the plight of innocent civilians plying the road.

He wrote: “Lekki Toll gate. Blocked. My take.. This is not necessary. yes we doubt the genuine nature of the Sars disbanding, But we hear this morning the IG slated a meeting with David and a few concerned youths. Why not atleast wait and see the outcome. This road block is going to torture your fellow citizens going about thier daily business. We seem to forget not all Sars officials are bad same way corrupt officials also exist in other police depts. What we need is accountability and prosecution of the culprit officers.. Well”

He advised that, those new trending celebrities should not allow fame get into their heads as this will result in their downfall.

Popular Nigerian comedian, Ayo Makun popularly known as AY Comedian has provided an explanation for the perceived laziness that is seen in most Nigerian youth.

The stand up comedian took to his Twitter page to explain that, most people become lazy due to the circumstances they find themselves.

The thespian therefore laid the blame on the doorstep of unemployment. He believes that the tragedy of unemployment is the number one cause of laziness among the Nigerian youth.

Elaborating further, he added that, nothing in this part of the world is more heartbreaking than graduating from the university with a degree and you don’t have any job to do.

He took to twitter and wrote: “The laziness of most Nigerian youth is caused by the tragedy of unemployment.
