Harri Obi, a media personality, has alleged that former Big Brother Naija housemates are hopping from bed to bed and begging for jobs to maintain their lavish lifestyle.

The OAP made his claims in a tweet saying housemates are pressured to outlive each other when the reality show is over and the entire ‘Celebrity Status’ makes it worse.

His tweet read;

“The BBN celebrity status is too fickle and exerts unnecessary pressure on someone who only 90 days back trekked to the audition venue. I’ve heard of former HMs that are in the DMs of every brand begging for N100k jobs, and others that sleep around to maintain the lifestyle.

“You’re an ordinary person, you get on the show for 90 days & all of a sudden people expect you to be flying private jets, driving Tesla, dinning at Sheraton & rocking Gucci. It’s why when people tell me to go for BBN, I just laugh. Societal expectations are killing your faves.

“I once overheard a mentor, the ceo of a big PR Agency in Nigeria, say the biggest mistake you’d ever make as a young person is letting yourself get drawn into the Nigerian celebrity vortex. It will chew and spit you out before you know what’s going on.

“As soon as HMs leave the house, there is a silent but loud competition to outdo each other; who’s getting the biggest endorsements? Who’s driving the best cars? Who’s traveling the most? Etc. No one is sitting down and planning their next move. It’s all noise and PR.

“A former HM from last season said she was broke and abandoned, Anto said something about being under pressure, Ahneeka wants fans to stop telling her how to live her life and Lucy shared the same sentiments days back. Nobody is teaching these younglings how to be celebrities.

“Or should we talk about the intense withdrawal symptoms, how the validity of your fame only lasts 365 days and as soon as the next set of new HMs are announced, your depression skyrockets. I wish these new guys goodluck. They don’t understand the world they’ve been thrown into.

The organizers of the most popular reality show in Africa, Big Brother Naija has disclosed the voting chart for all the weeks which saw one housemate emerging winner of all the weeks.

MultiChoice Nigeria, organizers of the BBNaija reality show released the chart and the eventual winner of the show, Laycon topped all the weeks that he was up for eviction.

The organizers earlier showed only the four housemates with the least votes but has however added the rest in a statement released on Thursday, October 1.

Laycon was followed by Erica, Nengi and Dorathy respectively.

Laycon votes were as follows;

Week 2: 24.28%
Week 3: 26: 55%
Week 4: 27:36%
Week 5 : 25.06%
Week 6 : 24.97%
Week 7 : 41.41%
Week 9 : 50.11%
Week 10 : 60%

Evicted housemate of the Big Brother Naija season 5 lockdown edition, Praise has taken to social media to share photos of his lovely son which is causing traffic on his Instagram page.

The former BBNaija reality show contestant took to the social networking platform to introduce to the world his bundle of joy.

The competition enters its final eviction week tomorrow and the remaining contestants and their fans are doing everything within their powers to sail through.

Big Brother Naija housemate, Ozo has received his second strike making him a potential candidate for disqualification if he gets another strike.

The housemate broke the rule on the mode of communication in the house by writing love letters to his love interest, Nengi.

Big Brother had earlier called all housemates into the lounge where a video was shown to them concerning activities in the house.

The video captured the moment when Ozo was writing series of love letters to Nengi.

The issue of letter writing contravenes the rule on the mode of communication in the house. The rule states that, contestants must communicate audibly and in English language.

Sign language, speaking vernacular, and writing of letters are strictly forbidden in the house. Ozo was then issued with his second strike following his love letters to Nengi.

Biggie warned that, he would be disqualified from the contest if he gets striked for the third time.
