Nigerian On-Air personality Toke Makinwa is having a very bad day on social media today.

Just this morning, the outspoken diva exposed some fraudsters who tried to blackmail her with x-rated photos.

She claimed the photos were edited by the said fraudster to extort money from her and destroy her reputation.

“I am sharing this ahead of your threats to release these edited/false images cos this is disappointing, this is not humanity, there is a pandemic killing people and there’s also certain human beings wanting to exploit people in a time when we should all spread love and kindness” She said on social media.

Nigerians however believe Toke intentionally staged her blackmail and leaked her photos so she could talked about in the news.

OAP Toke Makinwa has uncovered an evil plot by a fraudster who threatened to leak her n*de photos.

Toke shared screenshots of a mail she got from blackmailers who claim to have in their possession nak3d pictures which they plan on publishing on their website.

According to her, the pictures where photoshopped images she took to celebrate her birthday back in 2018. She therefore shared the pictures herself on her Instagram page saying she has no money to pay the fraudsters.

She wrote in addition to the pictures;

Is this really how low we’ve become? I understand that things are hard, I get that feeding off each other and scamming people will be on the rise but I’ve never and would never negotiate with con artists/scammers.

I am sharing this ahead of your threats to release these edited/false images cos this is disappointing, this is not humanity, there is a pandemic killing people and there’s also certain human beings wanting to exploit people in a time when we should all spread love and kindness.

Stop with your bloody emails already 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. I am not the one, not yesterday, not today, not ever. I don’t have any money to give you.

Popular blogger Cyprian Nyakundi who is known for his controversial articles has today been arrested by DCI detectives.

The detectives arrested Cyprian together with an acquaintance Emmanuel Nyamweya.

The arrest followed successful investigations touching on blackmail, extortion and false accusations.

According to a statement made by DCI, the two had just received Sh. 1 million from their victims on the 20th of January 2020.

The money was apparently only a down payment of Sh 17.5 million that they had earlier on demanded.

Cyprian Nyakundi is known for writing blog articles that expose deep dark secrets of prominent people and organizations.

He had apparently written defamatory articles on Victoria Commercial Bank. He then demanded the Sh. 17.5 million in order to pull down the posts.

Nyakundi was arrested after the bank reported him to the police over his illegal demands.

The bank manager dismissed all the claims in Cyprian’s articles as baseless and hold no truth.

“He has severally tried to bring the CEO’s personality to disrepute as a way to extort monies with his unsubstantiated articles,” said the bank manager.

The Sh. 1 million down payment was confiscated by police and is being held as exhibit money. The two suspects will be arraigned tomorrow in court.

Cyprian and Nyamweya were arrested at Westgate Mall and are currently being detained.

They pleaded not guilty to the counts of extortion and blackmail before Milimani Law Court.
