A post on Nollywood actress Kate Henshaws twitter handle revealed that the Civic Centre on the Ozumba road has been gutted by fire.

The Civic Centre is an event and convention centre designed by John Cubitt Architects and located on the Ozumba Mbadiwe Road & Adetokumbo Ademola Street, Victoria Island.

She made the post asking for confirmation from her followers. Response from some of them who commented confirmed the incident but added that the fire has been put out.
