Award winning Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie is leading a global poll organized by Billboard to select an act to feature on American rapper Cardi B’s next project.

Billboard took to their page to conduct a poll after the “Wap” crooner successfully secures the top spot of the hot 100 with her new joint #WAP.

Billboard paired acts like Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Lil Nas X, Charlie Puth, Roddy Ricch, Rosalia, BTS and a number of others but Sarkodie topped the poll.

The rapper came out with an extraordinary 70.3% of the total vote with the second place going to BTS, a South-Korean boy band, with just 9.15%. Nicki Minaj came at 4th place.

American rapper of Nigerian descent Wale has announced that he has a feature with Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie coming soon.

He shared the news via his official twitter handle.

Wale wrote on twitter, “Baba Folarin x @sarkodie soon come 🇬🇭 🇳🇬”.

Sarkodie apparently excited about the upcoming collaboration also reacted to the tweet and wrote, “🔥🔥 with Baba 😊 🇳🇬 🇬🇭”.

Young Nigerian Afro Pop star, Rema must be thanking his maker now, he has received a big endorsement from multiple award winning rapper Drake.

In an InstaLive session, Drake shared to the world his playlist and on it was the MAVINS singer’s hit single Dumebi.

Drake did not play the song but sang along and also revealed he has a ‘sick song’ with Rema yet to be released.

Rema is not the first Nigerian artist to work with Drake but the yet to be released project will sure be a big push in the young chap’s music career.

Artists like Wizkid, Teckno and Burna Boy have all taken turns at featuring the Canadian rapper on a project.

“Big Up Rema To, We have a sick song…sick song together..” he said in the video.

Kenya’s Arrowbwoy is making headlines today after being spotted with rapper 50 Cent. Furthermore, Arrowbwoy hinted at the two collaborating.

Arrowboy is in the USA on his Hatua Album tour. He and rapper 50 Cent met at The Westin Minneapolis where Arrowbwoy performed, following his performance in Dallas Texas the previous night.

Kenyan singer Arrow Bwoy who is famed for his hit Digi Digi has collaborated with Nigerian star Mayorkun.

Arrow Bwoy just released the audio for the collabo with the Nigerian singer who officially goes by Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel.

The song titled African Woman is one of the songs off his recently released album dubbed Hatua. The song praises the African woman for her intelligence, beauty and bedroom prowess among other things.

According to Arrow Bwoy, women from Africa are rare gems. In one of the verses, he says, “I’ve never seen a woman like an African girl ooo, I say she cooks, she cleans, she makes money, she got a love in abundance, tamu kama nanasi, so strong kama Mandela… “
