Controversial Nigerian lawyer, author and social commentator, Reno Omokri has revealed that, founder and leader of the Living Faith Ministries, Bishop David Oyedepo is the only true man of God that he respects.

Last week, social media was thrown into a frenzy when the venerable cleric made a post that, a man only needs a submissive woman to have a successful marriage.

He was vehemently opposed by On Air Personality, Daddy Freeze who stated that his statement goes to endorse modern day slavery. He advised that, submission should be from both ends and not one sided.

Founder and leader of the Salvation Ministries, pastor Ibiyeomie took the controversial OAP to the cleaners and promised to deal with him for insulting his father in the Lord.

Wading into the back and forth, former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has said that, Bishop Oyedepo is the only true man of God in Nigeria that he respects. He added that, anyone who disrespects Oyedepo is not a wise person.

He said: “If I am told to name a man of God I respect as a true man of God, Bishop David Oyedepo’s name must feature prominently. Fact check me: Anyone who disrespects Mr Oyedepo is not wise. Study what happened to those who did so in the past.

“It can’t be coincidence! That is 2 Thessalonians 1:6 in action. As long as you are human, if anyone talks for an hour, anybody can pick a few seconds of what you said, and isolate it from the context it was said, and then innocently or deliberately distort its meaning. They did it with Christ. It is not a new thing. Build your ministry by building yourself, not by tearing others down!”

Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder and leader of Living Faith Church Worldwide, popularly known as Winners chapel, has revealed that he would lay his bare hands and breathe into any Corona virus patient brought to him for prayer.

Oyedepo revealed this at the church’s Covenant Hour of Prayer, adding that, Covid-19 should not be a reason why you will not receive your “breaking through package’.

He said: “August is almost gone. We are in the 9th hour as it were, we are going to step into the 11th hour shortly: it is not late, you can connect.

“COVID-19 cannot be any reason why your own ‘Breaking Limit’ package will not be delivered. It’s not a tenable reason. No circumstance on earth will make the covenant of God of no effect.

“You can imagine a medical doctor, going back there to minister to coronavirus patients (documented testimony). He found something, while others are scared by everything they can see.

“Can you imagine anyone bringing coronavirus patient to me and I won’t lay hands on him? Will I wear gloves to lay hands on them? I will lay hands on them; breathe into them; embrace them. What you carry is eternal life, it’s not human life. You should know that,” he said.

“You’ll now wear everything like a doctor, you have never been in a theater in your life. You will be moving like somebody is under some attack.

“Someday, they will know that they have been deceived. They will all know that they have been grossly deceived.
You’ve covered your mouth: do you cover it when you want to eat or there is no corona virus when you are eating?
I just look at it and say, “what is all this?”

“It’s all the devil trying to dehumanize humanity. Don’t go near old people, yet you are buying food from them!
Do you ask somebody of her age when you want to buy food: “Hello Mama, what’s your age?” Age of what? Get out, my friend. I am selling something and you’re asking my age.

“The world will be free. I have a Liberation Mandate to this generation: my job is to see human beings set free from all harassment of the devil. Enough is Enough! Receive grace to constantly celebrate the Word of God; to embrace the Word of God by putting it to work in faith.”

Head pastor of Winners Chapel David Oyedepo has claimed that a person’s destiny depends on how committed they are to God’s work. He made the disclosure when talking about tithing in a post on his Twitter page.
