A video which is rapidly trending on social media shows a large group of people massing up in Abuja to continue the End SARS protest which ended some two months ago.

In October this year, the youth of Nigeria took to the streets to protest against police brutality and other extra judicial killings.

They were met with fierce opposition and some of the protesters lost their lives in the process.

Curfew was imposed on most of the States just to defeat the protesters. But it seems they’re back for good this time round.

Reports of the resumption of the protest hit social media and was followed by some videos of people gathering to hit the road.

Meanwhile, president Muhammadu Buhari has warned that they will not tolerate any hooligans in the name of protest.

The military has appeared before the Lagos Judicial Panel of Enquiry that is looking into the excesses of the End SARS protest at the Lekki toll gate on the night of Tuesday, October 20.

Contrary to what the governor for Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu said, the military has confirmed that they were actually invited there by the governor.

Appearing before the commission, Brigadier Ahmed Ibrahim Taiwo noted that the governor had to invite them because the police were overwhelmed by the angry protesters.

He also added that, the decision to invite the military to the scene was the best tactical decision the governor could make at the time.

He accused the protesters of pelting them with stones when they visited the scene to restore calm and order.

You will recall that, Babajide Sanwo-Olu denied the presence of military personnel during the Lekki toll gate shooting incident after the protesters accused the military of shooting and killing some of their members.

This new testimony has confirmed Babajide Sanwo-Olu as a politician who is economical with truth – a quality that runs through the veins if every African politician.

Soldiers have opened fire on harmless protesters at the Lekki Tollgate this evening. They’re shooting sporadically at protesters with live bullets.

The disturbing videos were shared on social media and the response has not been positive at all.

The Lagos State government imposed a 24-hour curfew on the State and warned that the security operatives will be on the roads to enforce the curfew to the latter.

This, probably is just a tip of the iceberg of what to expect from the security if they’re to listen to the politicians and implement their orders accordingly.

Nigerian afrobeats singer, Damini Ogulu known in showbiz as Burna Boy has reacted to the 24-hour curfew imposed on the Lagos State and other States to prevent #EndSARS protesters from continuing their protest.

Following the two-week long protest against SARS and police brutalities, most States in Nigeria have imposed curfew on the residents in order to prevent the people from protesting.

The latest State to join the list is Lagos State where the protest was widely patronized.

Burna Boy and a couple of celebrities who have been very vociferous in this fight have been reacting to the curfews imposed.

Taking to twitter, the self-styled African Giant noted that, the curfew can’t deter them from pursuing their agenda to its logical conclusion. He encouraged the youth never to give up the fight.

The Nigerian youth are resolute in their protest against SARS and police brutalities.

The protest has lasted for a number of days running into weeks now. The youth have been occupying some important roads and streets in the various State Capitals.

The new wave of protest has seen protesters besieging the Murtala Mohammed international airport in Lagos.

Earlier today, the protesters drove in to occupy the national edifice to show government how serious they were in their quest to get their demands met.

The protesters prevented movement in and out of the airport whiles chanting #EndSARS, End Police Brutalities. They also held placards with various inscriptions to drum home their message.
