Renowned Nigerian author who prides himself as Buhari’s tormentor has caused stare with his thoughtful but lengthy post on social media.

According to the loudmouth social and political commentator, President Buhari failed to close the borders early because of his daughter and Chief of Staff.

He also opined that the president was focused on sharing palliative funds in some parts of the country.

If Jonathan was President during #COVID19, and he refused to close Nigeria’s borders because his daughter and Chief of Staff were abroad, and he also focused sharing of palliative funds in Bayelsa, while other states got little or nothing, and ‘donated’ weevil infested rice and spoilt beans to opposition states, and asked schools to close, while at the same time ordering the closed school to feed the children, who are at home, and asked Lagosians to close from work at 6PM and get home before 8PM curfew (in Lagos traffic!). What would General @muhammadubuhari, Professor Wole Soyinka, Oby Ezekwesili and Nasir @Nelrufai’s reactions have been? #BuhariTormentor

Armed men suspected to be robbers have raided the family house of former Nigerian president, Goodluck Jonathan in a brawl which took the life of one soldier and left others injured.

The incident took place at the ex president’s home in Otuoke, Ogbia local government area in Bayelsa State, the criminals having struck at his residence at 3:00am on Tuesday, a time it was expected of him to be at home for the Christmas celebrations.

Soldiers have hence cordoned off the area, and investigations are being carried through.
