Before the finals, Nengi had 995k followers in Instagram. It shot up the roof few hours into the show making join the few BBNaija 2020 housemates with a million followers.

Laycon was first to hit a million Instagram followers while in the reality show and he went on to become winner of 2020 Big Brother Naija reality show.

This became known after the actor appreciating his fans for helping him hit 9 million followers on Instagram.
