After sharing the devastating story of her daughter’s illness online, Betty’s followers took to the comment section to bash her ex husband Dennis Okari. Many were of the opinion that Dennis was not with Betty or her daughter Ivanna during the trying time.

The constant comments attacking Dennis sparked an uproar from one of Dennis’ close friends. Fellow news anchor Ken Mijungu took to Facebook to defend his mate Dennis in a post that has now become the talk of the town.

“Okari was at the hospital day and night with his daughter and we raised funds to offset a 7M + bill. Okari only came to work when he could and our boss understood for all those months,” wrote Okari to anyone who doubted whether Dennis was by his daughter’s side.

“To deliberately paint him as Irresponsible is immoral my friend. You don’t have to correct the impression you have created because the Somali guy is by your side but at least be honest,” Ken added.

Ken has revealed a big part of this story that was left out by Betty as she wrote the lengthy story of Ivanna’s suffering online. At least now, both sides of the story are out there and no judgment can be made by people without full knowledge.

“You don’t need to thank Okari and Ivanna’s grandparents who visited and prayed with her but at least be honest about it. Ivanna opened her eyes on the 9th of April and we thank God for the miracle,” Ken finished.
