Gospel artist Size 8 Reborn paid a visit to ladies living in the slums and donated sanitary towels and other provisions to them.

Size 8 Reborn

The mother of two read about the plight of these women from Kibera slums on a blog and decided to help them out.

Size 8 who is the Brand ambassador for Softcare Kenya surprised the women in Kibera with Softcare boxes that had pads and other provisions as well.

The ladies shared their stories with her of how they have been struggling without basic needs during their periods.

Some of the women are even often forced to sleep with men in exchange for money to buy pads during their periods.

Most of these women their children are age ready for kindergarten or even past the age yet they have never stepped into a kindergarten for lack of resources!!! Dear @presidentuhurukenyatta tafadhali naomba we need more early childhood education schools all over this country that are for free. Our governor @mike.sonko i humbly request if its possible the county also looks into these. My husband @djmokenya and i have one but it cannot accommodate all the needy children. These children are the future woiye we need to secure their lives. Early childhood education centres are very few in this country and this is an issue that has been highly neglected!!!!!! While donating the amenities. Size 8 said that it is every woman’s duty to look after their fellow women.

She urged all capable women to reach out and donate whatever they can afford to the ladies in need.

Fans of Size 8 took to her Instagram to thank her for her efforts in helping the less fortunate.
