Reigning Ghanaian Song Writer of the year, Kofi Kinaata has released the much anticipated music video for his hit song Behind The Scene.

Born Martin King Arthur, Kofi Kinaata took his fans on his signature storytelling journey in the Behind The Scene music released earlier this year.

The lyrics in the song spoke about how a bystander(Including family members) judge that an individual is living a good life when in reality he/she is fighting some demons.

Fans prayed he drop visuals for the song and their prayers have been answered with good graphics and a story line to match the lyrics in the song.

Top-rising Ghanaian high-life music sensation and songwriter, Martin King Arthur who is popularly known in the showbiz circle as Kofi Kinaata has finally revealed why he doesn’t write his songs in English.

Kofi Kinaata speaking in an exclusive interview on Okay FM shared that he doesn’t see why he should sing his songs in English or compose an English song when African-American based musician like Micheal Jackson never sang in other peoples language.

Kofi Kinaata made this assertion as she was being interviewed by renowned media personality in the shape of Asiedu Nketiah.

Kofi Kinaata in his own words said:

Just after we all thought the controversy that surrounds Mr Drew was finally over, Ghanaian Highlife artiste Kofi Kinaata also surfaced as he is also been accused by an upcoming artiste Kwabena Currency of stealing his concept for his song titled ‘Things Fall Apart’.

In an interview, an upcoming artiste, Kwabena Currency accused Takoradi’s favourite of stealing his song ‘Things Fall Apart’ song after he approached Kinaata’s management with the song for a feature.

According to Kwabena Currency, the management of Kofi Kinaata raised a huge amount that they knew he couldn’t afford to pay.

Ghanaian rapper and songwriter Kofi Kinaata says had Coronavirus not disrupt this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, he would have be crowned the overall Artist of The Year.

Kofi Kinaata claims there is no Ghanaian artist who has worked harder than he has in the year under review. He mentioned shows, songs and endorsements deals he signed as evidence of his hard work.

“as for 2019, hands down without sounding arrogant I am by far the artiste of the year and I’m not saying 2020. I did more than any artiste in that year with hit songs, several ambassadorial deals, numerous shows that I performed and on top of all I was adjudged the most influential youth” he said on Radio Central.

Kofi Kinaata added that not only will he win the Artist of The Year but his ‘Things Fall Apart’ will beat the likes of Sarkodie’s Oofeetso to win the Most Popular Song of The Year.

“Oofeetso is a good song and I really respect my senior colleague Sarkodie. But when we say most popular song then it means that song crossed boundaries which I believe my song ‘Things fall apart’ stands tall”

“There is an alcoholic drink called Bailey’s which is very expensive but you can only find it at night clubs. There is another drink called Coca Cola which is not expensive but you can find it at night clubs, churches, mosques and even Saudi Arabia where alcoholic beverages are not sold.

“That’s the horizon that ‘things fall apart’ attained, it was everywhere and that’s what we call most popular song” he bragged.

This year’s VGMA has been postponed to a further date(pending review) due to the outbreak of Coronavirus and the ban placed on public gathering by the President of Ghana.
