The founder and head pastor of Salvation Ministries, Pastor Ibiyeomie has come under attacks in the last couple of days after a video of him insulting radio personality, Daddy Freeze went viral.

The pastor in the viral video attacked Daddy Freeze calling him a bastard for daring to challenge his (Ibiyeomie) father in the Lord, Bishop Oyedepo.

He said, Daddy Freeze doesn’t know his real father and that he looks like a Somalian and not a Nigerian.

His scathing attacks on Daddy Freeze have not gone unnoticed, as many people have rebuked him for using foul language which is against the code of ethics of a pastor.

Nollywood actress, Lala Akindoju is the latest to rebuke the pastor for using derogatory words on the on air personality. Reacting to the video on Tuesday morning, Lala said:

“Please that is not what the Bible preaches.”

“It is wrong, SO WRONG! First as a supposed Christian, then as leader and finally as a human being. I’m even more shocked at the congregation echoing the insults.

“This is why it is important to know God for yourself, read your bible yourself, and don’t get blinded by religion.

“I am very ashamed of him only because he has misrepresented the gospel of Jesus. Proverbs 18 is a good scripture to meditate on today. Selah!”

Renowned Nollywood actress, Lala Akindoju has taken to social media to slam Nigerian youth who have devoted all their time to Television Reality show, Big Brother Nigeria.

The actress remarked that, she wishes Nigerian youth would give the general election the same attention as they give BBnaija.

The Big Brother Nigeria TV reality show, has in recent times come under strict criticism where a lot of prominent Nigerians including traditional rulers wish it could be taken off TV.

The reality show has a huge audience with hundreds of millions of votes received in the competition which entered its 5th week this week.

She admonished that, young people in Nigeria need to do more to help fight for the development of the country. This, she thinks, can be achieved when the youth take interest in the politics of the nation.

She tweeted:“I still wish we will take our elections and holding our leaders accountable as seriously and passionately as we take big brother. I wish young people will give the same energy to register to vote when it is time. We have to do more to fight for our country.“

Nollywood actress, Lala Akindoju has condemned as shameful a visit by the Nigerian Actors Guild after a video went viral when they visited fellow actress and latest mother, Regina Daniels.

The delegation which was led by the president of the association, Emeka Rollas presented gifts to the new mum and her baby.

The new-born baby was also bestowed the title Nollywood Baby Of The Year which has drawn the irk of the celebrated actress.

Lala Akindoju took to her Twitter handle to voice her anger on the whole issue as she was obviously shocked by the visit.

She wrote

“it is actually shameful that the guild failed to display good leadership on pressing issues like navigating the industry with COVID-19, like creating structures to stop sexual harassment in the industry”.
