Angry Ms Forson Reveals Ghanaian Celebrities Were Treated Like ‘Dogs’ At Backstage Of Cardi B’s Performance

Last Sunday, nobody really knows why Shatta Wale and Sarkodie- who are arguably two of the biggest artistes in Ghana, did not perform at the ‘Cardi B in Ghana’ show.

There were so many speculations going round but none could be substantiated. Prior to the main show, a meet and greet event with Cardi B had been marred by a change in time.

However, Ghanaian female artiste Ms Forson, has given an account of what transpired behind the scenes during the show.

According to Ms Forson, what went on at the Accra Sport Stadium was bad.

She said: “A whole artiste who was coming on stage wasn’t permitted by some security people to be accompanied by his managers and dancers.

“Only the artiste was permitted- it’s my first time seeing that. I never knew black people could be this selective.

Describing the kind of treatment they had, Ms Forson said: “Even celebrities who were standing there, these security people came to ‘massacre’ all of us to leave the place all because Carbi B was coming.”

“Cardi B is human like any of us. She was accepted by her countrymen which is why she is who sh is today.

She then called on Ghanaians to support their celebrities.

Ms. Forson added that: “So if we’re here in Ghana and we can’t support our industry celebrities, but we will rather support outsiders then that’s up to us.

“And if those of us who came to watch Cardi B’s performance were being treated like dogs, does it make sense? It doesn’t make sense! Black people, this is something we should work on, let’s support our own, let’s love ourselves.

Ms Forson Retracts Defamatory Statement And Apologizes To Bullet

It wasn’t long ago that Ms Forson accused the CEO of Rufftown Records, Bullet, for forcing her to quit her marriage.

And days after that accusation, Bullet, through his lawyers, called on Ms Forson to retract the statement as it was deemed as defamatory and also apologize for same.

A letter sighted by AfricaCelebrities.com indicates that Ms Forson has duly retracted her statement of accusation and has apologized to bullet as well. The letter reads as follows:

RE: REQUEST TO RETRACT PUBLICATION OF DEFAMATORY STATEMENTS MADE AGAINST RICKY NANA AGYEMAN AND TO RENDER AN UNQUALIFIED APOLOGY

Dear Sir/Madam.

We confirm receipt of your email today Tuesday 4th November 2019, from your firm LawPlus on behalf of your client Mr Ricky Nana Agyeman known in showbiz as “Bullet’ requesting retraction and apology from Miss Gloria Forson who represents by the stage name “Ms Forson” and happens to be an artist under the Black Avenue Muzik record Label.

We write on behalf of Ms.Forson in the absence of our CEO who isn’t in the country at the moment and after briefly conferring with our legal team.

Firstly these accusations leveled against Ms. Forson aren’t founded on her exact wordings in these interviews and her intentions aren’t to defame ‘Bullet’.

We however attach copies of her interview with ZionFelix where she duly stated that “Bullet advised her against being married and being in the music industry at the same time. She however ended her relationship with her ex for her own reasons.

She also blatantly stated in the interview with blogger Sammy Kay that Bullet was the writer of the songs and that she had no rights to these songs. She only contributed little parts of the songs and recorded them as a vocalist/artist when she worked with Rufftown Records.

We however want to state categorically that statements made by Ms. Forson had and has no malicious intentions as made believed by some parts of the media and unfortunate if it’s regarded as defamatory.

Secondly, Ms Forson retracts and duly apologizes to Mr.Ricky Nana Agyeman “Bullet” if any part of her statements in the interviews granted by the following media platforms. Okay Fm, www.ZionFelix.com and Sammykay Online Media on the 31st of October 2019, has caused him inconveniences in anyway.

Ms. Forson is a young up and coming act and would not want to engage in any battles with other entertainment industry persons especially not with ‘Bullet’, someone she looks up to.

Ms Forson Lied To Me About Her Marital Status- Bullet

The CEO of Rufftown Records, Ricky Nana Agyemang, popularly known in showbiz as Bullet has said that he does not manage married women due to the nature of his work.

He made this disclosure on the Happy FM’s “Ayekoo After Drive” show with DJ Advicer.

He said: “Our work is hectic. We sometimes work very late in the night and we also travel a lot. In Africa, it is difficult to thrive as a female artiste that is why I do not like to manage married women”.

His statement was in connection with the exit of his former signee, Ms. Forson from the Rufftown label. Ms Forson had earlier stated that Bullet forced her to end her marriage.

He also countered Ms. Forson’s allegation that Bullet demanded fifty thousand dollars to sign her onto the Rufftown label.

According to Bullet however, Ms.Forson lied to him about her marriage life and that was why he could not sign her onto the label.

“I only realized Ms.Forson was married after I had announced her at the VGMA awards night. As an artiste, she had to disclose everything about herself before she could be signed onto the label.

However she lied that she was unmarried. I could not work with an artiste who lied”, he said.

Ms. Forson is currently signed on to D-Black’s Black Avenue Muzik.
