According to the Ghana Health Service Directorate, the country’s coronavirus case count has jumped to 2,169 with one more death.

The new update was gathered from the Ghana Health Service on May 2, 2020, as the news means that Ghana has recorded 95 additional cases.

It was further gathered that 18 more people have recovered since the last update.

The latest update comes from the results of 3,552 samples that were tested by the various testing centers across the country.

Reports reaching AfriacCelebrities.com indicates that Ghana has recorded some 9 new confirmed cases of the novel virus; coronavirus as of Tuesday 31st March 2020, bringing the numbers to a total of 161.

The Ghana Health Service Directorate in their latest reports indicates as it includes some 31 new recoveries and 5 deaths.

A report from the directorate says:

“This brings up to a total of 161 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ghana, including five (5) deaths as of 31 st March 2020 at 15:00Hr.”
