Popular Nollywood actress, Onyii Alex has incurred the wrath of her colleagues after she took to Instagram to share a message that is deemed uncomforting to many women.

The actress, whiles addressing the issue of how a woman can punish her man, noted that, rejecting your husband’s money is the best way to punish him.

This unpopular opinion has definitely caused the eyebrows of most women to rise in protest. Many of the women took to the comments section and vehemently disagreed with her stance.

Nollywood actress, Onyii Alex has taken to her Instagram page to lash out at the hypocrisy of Nigerians in the way they judge people on the internet.

According to the beautiful thespian, the standards use to judge celebrities especially actresses are not the same for reality TV show contestants.

She made a particular mention of the Big Brother Naija show to buttress her claim. She noted that, participants in the reality show walk naked and fornicate on Live television and are hailed as idols whiles celebrities who do less are branded as prostitutes.

She wondered why same is not said of other celebrities who pose half naked on social media. She ended by making a resolve to always be herself and not forced to succumb to societal hypocrisy.

She wrote; “When big Brother Naija contestants (especially ladies) go naked or fornicate on the show, they come out as idols, legends, kings and queens but if some random girl or celebrity goes nude on Instagram they are labelled prostitutes!!! Walahi, this hypocrisy smoke loud.”

Just recently, popular Nigerian comedian, Funnybone opined that an average Igbo girl depends on her good looks to get a rich man.
