Nigerian blogger and entertainment critic, Ovie has taken a swipe at religions and their laws or barriers on their adherents.

The renowned blogger took to his Twitter page to write that, religious beliefs and barriers only affect the poor and gullible in society.

She added that once a person gets rich and more stable in life, religious barriers don’t have anything on him or her.

He made this remarks after celebrated Liverpool and Egyptian footballer, Mohammed Salah shared photos of his family celebrating Christmas which is forbidden by the Islamic religion he practices.

He opined that, Salah is able to celebrate Christmas without any problem because of his affluence and influence in society.

He tweeted: “The richer & more stable you get, the more you realize religious barriers/conflicts are for the poor & gullible.”
