General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has, today, 31st August, 2020 visited president Buhari at the State House, Abuja.

His Excellency Yemi Osinbajo who is the vice president of Nigeria and a pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) was also present with Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Ibrahim Gambari to welcome the clergyman to the seat of government.

There has been a controversial law passed recently where the federal government has the right and power to remove and replace the board of trustees of any church.

Pastor Enoch Adeboye has not commented on it yet, but Apostle Joshua Suleman, Bishop David Oyedepo and a host of other pastors have opposed the new law.

It’s still unclear why he visits the State House but many people are suggesting that, it may be because of the law.

Popular Nollywood actress, Ruth Kadiri has backed Pastor Adeboye, stating that a man is the head and the woman should be submissive to him.

The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Adeboye in a message, on the occasion of his wife’s 72nd birthday said that the husband is the head of the wife.

According to him, no matter how educated or successful you are, your husband is your head and you must regard him as such at all times.

And Ruth Kadiri, in a twitter post to support the top cleric posted;

“Pastor Adeboye isn’t lying at all. The Bible clearly states that Man is the head and the woman should be submissive to him. Don’t drag the position with a man, he will respect you for that. No man wants to lose that position or be denied of it.”

General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God(RCCG) has flooded Instagram with images of his wife, Mummy G.O to celebrate her 72nd birthday.

Pastor Adeboye celebrated his wife with a deep kiss, in one of the pictures, and he was also seen praying for his wife in another video.

“I pray that your joy will last forever, this new year you will hear and see God more, you will serve God better and all your heart desires, God will grant unto you in Jesus name,” he captioned the video.

Pastor Adeboye and his wife have been married since 1967 and have four children. He was quoted sometime ago to have said that “he will kill any man that comes close to his wife“.

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has sent a strong caution to any man who tries to mess with his wife, Foluke.

In one of his weekly devotional messages to his congregation, the man of God revealed how willing he is to kill anyone who messes around with his wife.

Teaching about the joy of having a successful marriage, the pastor said husbands and wives only have a single job on their hands and he says it is to have a successful union.

“I am sure you have heard me say it before. You can do whatever you like to me, you can criticize me, you can insult me, you can trample on me, I will only pray for you. When people ask me how are you going to do that, I tell my daddy to send you to hell straight away“. he said.

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A Adeboye, has condemned the gruesome rape and murder of Uwa Omozuwa in a church.

Vera Uwaila Omozuwa, 22, had visited her Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) branch in Benin, Edo State to clean the church and read the bible last Wednesday.

Reports say unidentified men attacked her and took turns to rape her in the church auditorium then smashed her head with a fire extinguisher cylinder.

Pastor Adeboye is reaction to the sad event wrote on Instagram, “All I can do at this time is to pray for the family of Omozuwa and do everything possible working with relevant authorities to bring the perpetrators to book. I and members of my Family condemn this act strongly and urge everyone to stay calm as we are already looking into the matter and cooperating with the police to establish the facts of the shocking situation . . #justiceforuwa”

The RCCG church also released a statement explaining why Uwa was in the church, how she was found and the measure taken after she was fund motionless.
