A Nigerian pastor located in Delta State has been apprehended by the police for allegedly extorting the sum of N350,000 from a woman to save her life.

The pastor, who claims was ordained at the Winner’s Chapel, told the victim, Theresa Okolie, at her home that she has the spirit of untimely death haunting her and if he does not deliver her, she will die prematurely.

Theresa said the clergyman demanded the sum of N350,000 from her to be used to cleanse her from the demonic spirits ad spirit of death chasing her and she readily paid only to realize he was a fraudster.

“I think the pastor used a charm on me because immediately he told me that my house was covered in darkness and harboured the spirit of untimely death, I started running about to gather money for him.

Theresa said she immediately reported the supposed man of God to the authorities to help her retrieve her money.

I gave him N350,000 that I kept for my farm and in the process of borrowing the balance from a friend, the police were alerted.” the victim said.

French professional footballer and Manchester United star midfielder, Paul Pogba, has encountered a problem with the police and his Rolls-Royce seized in the process.

Pogba was caught when he exited near the Manchester Airport on Thursday driving his Black Badge Rolls-Royce Wraith.

According to The Sun UK, he was pulled over for driving an exotic car with a French number plate, he was then put into a patrol car and drove to the station.

His crime, according to the UK laws, was not registering his vehicle and still driving it in town. Pogba stands the risk of paying £150 to get his car back within seven days or will have to pay £20 extra for every day it’s held in police custody.

According to the laws of united Kingdom, Cars from abroad that have been in Britain for more than six months in a year must be registered with the DVLA and fitted with UK plates except if the owner is  a UK resident then they must register their car within two weeks of importing it.

Hushpuppi along with some friends where arrested on Tuesday by the Dubai FBI and Interpol over money laundering and fraud allegations.

According to reports,the Instagram billionaires Hushpuppi and Mr. Woodberg allegedly squandered $35m meant to support Covid-19 and also linked to a host of fraudulent acts.

Reacting to the news, Mompha – who was also arrested for a similar allegation last year, advised people not to celebrate one’s shortcomings as no one knows what the future holds.

“Never mock anyone who is facing a trail case cos you don’t know tomorrow. For those who are worried about me am safe and sound. No shaking, God never disappoint his own” he wrote.

Karma seems to have dished out a revenge for Mompha because Hushpuppi teased when he was arrested last year.

After spending 3 nights in police custody, the founder of International Godsway Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim has been granted bail and he celebrated in a very dramatic way.

At his house on Saturday afternoon, the controversial man of God was met with songs of praise at an organized thanksgiving service on his compound.

The pastor was also charged for forgery of a document contrary to sections 208 and 159 of the Criminal and other offenses Act, 1960 (Act 29) respectively.
