Tanzanian star Rayvanny has broken up with his wife and baby mama Fahyma aka Fahyvanny. Apparently, over the weekend Rayvanny got a text from Fahyma telling him to forget about her and their son.

The text sent by Fahyma in Swahili translates to “Count me and Jay as dead in your life. I will fight and I will win. I will not lack money for food but just consider Jay and I dead to you.”

The couple has in the past openly had problems in their marriage. This however seems to be it seeing that Fahyma has even blocked Rayvanny on her social media. This break up seems to be permanent.

Rayvanny replied to the text publicly on an Instagram post. He wrote “I have respected you for all these years we’ve been together. We have disagreed on a lot and forgiven each other. You have been craving for a life I have been telling you will not help you.”

Mambo Mseto host Mzazi Willy M Tuva, musician Akothee and DJ Posion Ivy all won awards at the Afrika Muzik Magazine Awards held in Texas, USA on Saturday.

Tuva was named the best radio and TV presenter in Africa, while Akothee was crowned the best female musician in East Africa, beating out Vanessa Mdee, Nandy, Victoria Kimani and Fena Gitu, among others.

DJ Poison Ivy, who is the Dallas Mavericks’ official deejay, walked away with the best DJ in East Africa award. They were joined in the winners’ category by Tanzania’s Ommy Dimpoz, who won East African Male Artiste of the Year, beating out fellow countrymen Diamond, Rayvanny and Alikiba, as well as Kenya’s Nyashinski and Khaligraph Jones.
