A Nigerian couple will spend a lengthy period behind bars after they were found guilty of sexual assault.

The couple identified as 49-year-old, Shola Ogundare and his 35-year-old partner, Oluwafunmilayo Emmanuel were put before a court in the United Kingdom in 2018.

At the end of the trial, the two were found guilty by the Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court.

Ogundare and Emmanuel had been earlier arrested and taken into police custody for questioning over an assault on a young boy, a charge the couple pleaded not guilty.

During investigations, it came to light that the couple had also sexually abused a y9ujg girl in their home.

The judge sentenced the male accused to a total of 15 years for te sexual assault and his female partner handed four years for her cruelty to the young boy.

The prosecutor thanked the court for such a strong sentence adding that it will send a note of caution to other evil perpetrators of child abuse.

 “First and foremost I would like to commend the victims for their strength in seeking help and disclosing what had happened to them. Both children have demonstrated incredible courage throughout our investigation and this trial, especially considering their age.

Abuse of this kind often has a long-lasting impact on victims but I sincerely hope that they can move forward with their lives – free from the fear of being abused.

Ogundare subjected these children to a prolonged campaign of abuse. Under the pretence of punishment, he sexually abused one of the victims to satisfy his most repulsive desires.

Throughout this investigation, he has shown no remorse and the things he has said to try to evade justice have been beyond comprehension.

“Emmanuel also subjected the children to physical abuse and has also shown no remorse. She has repeatedly defended Ogundare and tried to discredit the victims.

“I hope today’s result sends a clear message to members of the public and offenders alike that police officers will do everything in their power to see justice done.”

A twitter handle with the name, Biliquis, had published a letter alleged to be written by a lady who is accusing Nigerian singer Brymo of sexual assault.

In the letter, the victim narrated how she was drugged and forced into having an intercourse with the singer after she visited him with a friend.

I was raped by brymo I had mentioned to her that I knew him personally and she wanted to meet him as she was a huge fan of his. So I called him to confirm if it was okay to bring a friend over to his place and also if he was at home and he said it was. When we got his place, we listened to music, talked about music and random stuff and drank wine.

Everything was going okay. Until he got up and went to sit beside my friend. He started touching her and I could tell she was uncomfortable and she also complained about feeling fuzzy (we believe she was probably drugged) so I told him to stop and that we were leaving.

I brought out my phone and was about ordering a taxify when he told me he wanted to talk to me. I told him I’d talk to him later but we had to leave. But he insisted and told me to go with him to his room to talk as he didn’t want to talk in the presence of my friend. I leave.

He started shouting and kept calling me stupid for making such a mistake. At his point, i was already scared so I just kept apologizing so he would let us go. He then said he couldn’t let me go like that as he was already horny and had to be satisfied.

There was no way I would have been able to leave if I didn’t do what he wanted so I did. At some point my friend got worried and came banging on the door. He told me that he’d have sex with her too and I had to beg him to leave her out of it. He started laughing like the sicko that he is and I was so scared.”

The singer has however not come out to address the allegations leveled against him.

A woman who accused U.S. President Donald Trump of sexual assault is now seeking his DNA to prove her claims.

E. Jean Carroll who is an advice columnist claimed that Trump attacked her back in the 1990s.

According to her, the President sexually assaulted her at a luxury department store in Manhattan known as Bergdorf Goodman.

Ms. Carroll allegedly filed a lawsuit against Trump in November last year. President Trump denied the allegations.

In fact, he insisted that he had never even seen Carroll in his life despite pictures of the two resurfacing on social media.

To prove her claim, Carroll’s lawyers have recently served one of Trump’s attorney’s with papers on Thursday 30th January requesting the president’s DNA.

The President is required to provide a sample by March 2 which will be used to compare with a DNA sample on the dress Carroll was wearing the day she was attacked.

The columnist apparently kept the dress all those years from which the male DNA sample was retrieved from.

“After Trump sexually assaulted me, I took the black dress I had been wearing and hung it in my closet. I only wore it once since then,” said Carroll.

Carroll first published the story of Trump assaulting her in a changing room last year in the New York Magazine.

“He unzips his pants, and, forcing his finger around my private area thrusts his penis halfway – or completely, I’m not certain – inside me,” reads an excerpt.

Trump’s lawyers are yet to make a public comment about this matter but it’s only a matter of time.
