Big Brother Naija housemate, Laycon, is trending number on social media after he revealed that he has a mild symptom of the sickle cell anemia – the SC genotype.

Laycon disclosed that on the reality show that he has a hemoglobin that carries symptoms similar to that of sickle cell disease, but his is milder.

His words were, “My blood group is Sickle Cell, I don’t like to tell people my genotype because I feel they will think I’m sick.”

Dorathy in reaction to Laycon’s revelation said that his condition could be the reason for his slim physique.

Nigerian actor Ayoola has joined the fight against sickle cell disease. September is the sickle cell awareness month and he’s charged all to get tested to know their status.

The skinny Girl in transit actor posted a video on his IG page offering guidance to all to get tested before deciding to bring a child into the world.

He joins the missdeefoundation, a foundation supporting people with sickle cell, to push for everyone to know about the disease.

The campaign is captured ” Help Stop The Pain”, its aim is to help stop the pain the sufferers of the disease goes through.
