ACCIDENT: 3 Killed, 90 Missing In Cameroon Boat Accident
According to reports on Punch, at least three people have been killed and 90 missing in a boat accident in Cameroon’s Atlantic coast on Monday.
It said local authorities reported that the ferry, belonging to Cameroon’s shipping company, Achouka, sank off Cameroon’s Atlantic coast.

A Cameroon navy official said the ferry left Nigeria and was heading to Tiko wharf in Cameroon’s Southwest region.
The official said it was still unclear what caused the ferry to sink but preliminary investigations showed it encountered rough weather.

The official said the navy rescued over 100 people from the ferry but over 90 others are still missing.
The search and rescue efforts for the remaining still continues.
