CEO Of Sapphire Scents Explains Why He Has So Many Ambassadors

The CEO of Sapphire Scents, Mr. Wale Aladejana, in a lengthy post on his IG page today, said the Sapphire brand has the highest number of brand ambassadors in Nigeria.

“Last year we spent around 60 million on billboards to get the name “Sapphire Scents” everywhere but this year the strategy changed to getting our products everywhere. To make your brand the number one seller and the preferred choice everywhere will cost money, there is something called the “cost of business” you have to be careful otherwise you will spend a lot of money and you won’t see a dime.

He said within the six brand ambassadors, they have an audience of 15.4 million people and that influencer marketing on social media is the most effective way to promote one’s brand since it’s effective in the monitoring of progress.

He added that advertising on billboards and TV may go wide but checking its process is difficult but on social media, once someone is interested, you get a message on WhatsApp or dm.

He advised his fellow businessmen to do their brands’ favour by getting brand ambassadors or social media influencers. He, however, admonished them to do so only if their business is ready for it.
