Kenyan Hit Song “Wamlambez” Banned For Racy Lyrics
The censorship board in Kenya has banned a hit song in the country for its racy lyrics. Wamlambez, a trending song in the east African country was banned because it contains slang for oral sex.
It was therefore deemed “pure ponography” and thus cannot be played to children’s hearing. In effect it cannot be played on radio and television. The song can be played only in bars and night clubs.
The hit song was released by the music group, Sailors. The group has condemned the censorship board intervention. They have urged their fans to disregard the directive and enjoy themselves to the music.
