Boko Haram Kills Telco Workers Laying Ground Cables
Eleven people laying optic cables for a telecom company have been gunned down by suspected members of the Boko Haram jihadist group. The sad incident happened in north-eastern Borno state which has suffered the most in the decade-long insurgency.
Members of the Joint Task Force and some residents confirmed the news. They said the victims were warned by the group to stop the work but they refused. They arrived on the day of the incident and this time opened fire on the workers.
