Nigerian director, Frank Rajah, has confessed in an interview that he regrets that he sabotaged Eddie Nartey’s career.

Speaking to a JoyNews interviewer, Frank Rajah said: “Eddie was one of the actors that when I saw- he was fantastic, he was good. He had every quality I wanted in an actor.”

Rajah disclosed that Eddie’s qualities was the reason he picked him among other actors like Van Vicker and Majid Michel to work with.

However, Frank Rajah, in a candid demeanor said: “But for some reason- I was still very young, youthful and all- I got upset with him and decided to push him aside and not mind him.”

“Without telling him,- I didn’t tell him he offended me or did something wrong to me- I just neglected him and I wasn’t filming with him, whiles I was busy pushing Majid and even John Dumelo but putting down someone I know [referring to Eddie] that has the talent to do it”, he added.

He later revealed in the interview that he did a similar thing to Ekow Smith Asante.

“Sometimes you look back and regret certain things”, the remorseful Frank Rajah said. Adding that he felt bad after meeting Eddie and seeing those standing on stage being honored “and I know that he deserve a spot like that”, he said.
