Police in Zambia have arrested an opposition leader and charged him with defaming the president of the country.
Chishimba Kambwili was arrested on charges of insulting President Edgar Lungu in videos circulating on the internet. He faces up to three years imprisonment if found guilty.
Chishimba Kambwili was previously the information minister but was dismissed and has since turned into a fierce critic of President Lungu.
