Nigerian Footballer John Obi Set To Split With Girlfriend Over Trabzonspor Move

Nigerian Former Super Eagles captain, Mikel John Obi and his girlfriend, Olga Dyachenko, are set to go their separate ways.

The footballers’ girlfriend seems to be against his move to the Turkish Club Trabzonspor as she threatens to prevent him from seeing the kids should he remain in Trabzon.

A source close to the family revealed to AOIFootball.com, that the situation could go really sour after Olga told Mikel that she will no longer come to Turkey with the children.

It also stated that Olga warned him against the move but he convinced her but now both Olga and the children don’t like Turkey and she’s decided not to go back there again.

The decision according to the source has affected John as he is sad about the development. It is, however, unknown how John will handle the whole issue as the thought of not seeing his kids is a huge bother to him.

The midfielder is however expected to be in action later Thursday night when Trabzonspor welcomes AEK Athens in the Europa League, holding a 3-1 advantage in their quest to reach the group stages.
