1. Sarkcess Music and Strongman; In March 2017, Sarkodie’s record label signed then upcoming artist, Strongman unto his Sarkcess Music. During his time with the label Strongman released hits such as Transformer and other tracks. When his contract ended in April 14th, Sarkdie didn’t renew his contract, which made a lot of fans unhappy.

2) MzVee and Lynx Entertainment; A few months ago rumours ran agog that MzVee was inactive in the music industry because she was unhappy at her record label. There were other rumours too that she was pregnant, which she denied. The singer later confirmed on her twitter handle that she had indeed parted ways with Lynx Entertainment much to the chagrin of her fans.

3. Eazzi and Lynx Entertainment; Eazzy normally referred to herself as the First Lady of her record label, as she was the first woman to be signed onto the label. Her departure came unexpectedly and when interviewed on why she left, Eazzy claimed that she felt sidelined and left out because all the focus was on Asem. She claims to be still on good terms with her record label though.

Kwabena Kwabena and Manageress; Ace highlife musician Kwabena Kwabena released bangers upon bangers for Ghanaians, and it came as a shock to many when he confirmed that he had parted ways with his manageress, Frema Adunyame due to conflicting schedules. He is yet to release a new hit song and Ghanaians are eagerly awaiting.

5. Shatta Wale and Bullhaus Entertainment; When Dancehall artist Shatta Wale and his manager Bulldog parted ways , it left many surprised because the duo were always seen together. The pair worked for about three years to bring amazing hit songs, and when they ended their contract it was to the dismay of SM fans. But they’re back together again after years apart.

6. Kelvynbwoy and Stonebwoy; This has not yet being confirmed by management but since Stonebwoy is no longer following Kelvinbwoy on Instagram we’ve assumed the worst. It has also been alleged that Stonebwoy is not currently happy with the way Blakk Cedi is managing his funds, and also how Cedi is focused on promoting Kelvynbwoy. This means there is trouble in the camp of Bhimnation.
