Some Nigerians had staged anti-xenophobia protests and retaliatory attacks on South African businesses across the nation, during which business outfits perceived to belong to South Africans were attacked.

The protesters in Nigeria stormed Shoprite outlets in Lagos and looted products in the shop even to the extent of threatening to burn down the shops.

In several videos sighted by AfricaCelebrities.com, the protesters made away with television sets and other items from the Shoprite in Lagos.

Fortunately or unfortunately for these looters, the Nigerian police went into action to find the suspected looters who had committed the crime. And they have managed to arrest some of the perpetrators.

Out of the 19 arrested, 18 of them were found in possession of valuable items allegedly looted from the mall.
